High Performance Alloys (HPAlloys) is a producer and supplier of alloy metals in plate, bar, sheet, wire, fasteners and forgings for the aerospace, chemical processing, oil and gas, medical and food processing industries.

HPAlloys service capabilities include:

  • Service centre
  • ISO 9001 manufacturer and distributor
  • Independent NADCAP testing
  • Destructive and NDT inspections
  • Positive metal identification (PMI)

Our raw products are used in oil & gas components for Schlumberger, GE, Saudi Aramco, Statoil, Halliburton, International Lift Systems, Lufkin, Dong Energy Power, Emerson, Fisher, Cameron, Weatherford, Oceaneering and National Oilwell Varco (NOV).

Corrosion-resistant alloys

HPAlloys provides a range of corrosion-resistant alloys for use in reducing and oxidising environments where there is exposure to organic, sulphuric, phosphoric and nitric acids or chloride-induced SCC, and across a wide range of temperatures and conditions.

HPAlloys is a producer, supplier and associated services provider of alloy metals in plate, bar, sheet, wire, fasteners and forgings.
HPAlloys provides a range of corrosion-resistant alloys for use in reducing and oxidising environments.
Wear-resistant alloys significantly lower maintenance costs and extend part life.
HPAlloys not only acts as a distributor, but also as a centre providing services such as cutting and slicing.

HPAlloys stocks HASTELLOY®, INCOLOY®, MONEL®, INCONEL®, FERRALIUM® and NITRONIC® alloys for applications in components such as valves, pumps, shafts, marine fixtures, fasteners, electrical and electronic components, processing equipment, petroleum refining and production equipment, feed water heaters and other heat exchangers.

Wear-resistant alloys

Several types of wear-resistant alloys are provided by HPAlloys for minimising seising, galling and non-lubricated wear, which can occur in equipment such as pump applications for motor shafts, bushings, sleeves; valve stems and fasteners.

Wear-resistant alloys significantly lower maintenance costs and extend part life. HP Alloys supplies alloys with yield strengths of more than double 304 and 316 stainless-steels, and with tensile strengths in excess of 200ksi.

STELLITE® and NITRONIC® alloys are all stocked by HPAlloy. The company also stocks HPA COBALT 6B alloy, an excellent replacement for #6 castings due to its ductility and dependability for sealing surfaces.

High temperature-resistant alloys

High temperature-resistant alloys are popular because of their strength, ductility and oxidation resistance characteristics.

Applications include valve stems, seats, and trims; fastening systems, screening, pins, bushings, roller bearings for the food handling, medical, automotive, aerospace and nuclear industries.

Alloys stocked include HASTELLOY® alloy X (HX), INCONEL® alloy 601, 625 or 718, L605 (alloy 25) and NITRONIC 60®.

Water jet cutting and centreless grinding services

HPAlloys not only acts as a distributor, but also as a centre providing services such as cutting and slicing using bandsaws. For precise plate and sheet cutting, HPAlloys uses dynamic flow waterjet equipment to minimise and eliminate undercut for very close tolerances

Alloy production

For cases where uncommon alloys, sizes, or quantities are required, HPAlloys has installed its own GFM rotary forges to meet more specific client requirements. As well as being able to make alloys to order, the company can now also offer open die forgings on their 750t Lake Erie press, such as rounds, squares, rectangles and upsets.

The facility also runs a rolling mill for rounds, squares, rectangles and hexagonals, as well as hot and cold narrow plate rolling.

The company specialises in quick deliveries and small quantities, offers quantities for medium to larger needs (1,000kg or less) and will estimate for deliveries through their large network of mills for even larger needs.
