Standard and bespoke winches can be engineered to meet customers’ requirements and the team has expertise in hydraulic, electronic, mechanical, electrical and pneumatic systems. Our fully equipped “centre of excellence” features a bespoke test facility up to 250t line pull.

Delta 2

Delta 2 is a small field developed near the Oseberg oil and gas field located around 130km west of Bergen, Norway, in the northern part of the Norwegian North Sea.

Kashagan Offshore Oil Field

Discovered in July 2000, Kashagan was described as the largest field found in the past 30 years, the largest outside of the Middle East, with a projected output close to that of the Ghawar field in Saudi Arabia.

Fortuna FLNG, Block R

Fortuna floating liquefied natural gas (FLNG) project includes the development of the Fortuna field using a leased floating liquefaction storage and offloading (FLSO) vessel.

Forties Oilfield – a timeline

Forties Oilfield, located in the UK Licence Block 21/10, approximately 140 miles north-east of Aberdeen in the UK sector of the North Sea, was discovered by British Petroleum (BP) in October 1970.

Huldra Field, North Sea

The Huldra field is located in blocks 30/2 and 30/3 of the North Sea. Operated by Statoil, the gas and condensate field lies at a depth of 125m and is about 16km away from the company's Veslefrikk field.

Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli (ACG) Oilfield – a timeline

Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli (ACG) Oilfield was discovered in the early 1980s. State Oil Company of the Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) started the development in shallow waters of the Gunashli field implementing several platforms and brought it into production in 1985.
