Its hard-wearing solutions are used in a broad number of subsea applications, including offshore pipeline bundles, chemical injection operations and methanol servicing activities, as well as hydraulic component control. We are able to supply hose systems in a versatile range of configurations and lengths up to 15,000ft depending on the intended application.
SPIR STAR’s durable hose assemblies are characterised by their low permeation rate and excellent resistance to chemicals, detergents and solvents, while their resilient outer covers have been specially designed to protect against external pressures, hydrolysis and microbes, making them ideal for harsh deepwater locations.
SPIR STAR’s hose solutions have proven to exhibit low volumetric expansion, even at maximum working pressure, and are compatible with extreme temperatures up to 150°C (300°F). Furthermore, their robust design means they have a small bend radius at maximum flow rates, enabling consistently superior performance over prolonged and intensive deployment periods.

The company’s hoses are extensively tested prior to delivery using the latest testing systems, including impulse test stands, tensile strength and burst pressure test equipment in order to verify each unit’s ability to achieve optimum performance. EN 10204 test certificates can be supplied for individual assemblies upon request.
