Eleven years after entering the side-by-side market with a vehicle designed for work and play, Can-Am has introduced five models of redesigned Commanders for 2021. The DPS, XT, XT-P, MAX DPS, and MAX XT Commanders were updated for work, hunting, trail, and performance applications.

All Commanders

All five machines are powered by 100-hp. Rotax 1000R engines.

On these 2021 models, the engine was moved to the back and the at least 14 inches was added to the wheelbase. The wider stance gives riders more space inside the vehicle, wider opening doors, and a quieter, more comfortable ride.

A towing capacity of 2,000 pounds and large cargo box make this line of vehicles ready to work.

The company touts class-leading maintenance intervals and do-it-yourself-friendly maintenance access points for operators who like to care for their own machine.

Can-Am offers more than 150 accessories to adapt any of these machines to a farm's specific needs.

"The 2021 Can-Am Commander is our most versatile side-by-side vehicle, period," says Julie Tourville of Can-Am. "It is smooth and incredibly fun to drive, yet rugged and very capable. The lineup, built from the rider down is truly the best of off-road living – designed for an awesome rider experience regardless of use."
