Bobcat has announced the new TL519 telehandler, and at 6 feet wide, it's the most compact in the company's lineup.

"The TL519 delivers the power, extended reach, and maneuverability that customers need to tackle big jobs on confined job sites," says Drew Kolo, marketing manager for Bobcat. "Its ease of use, and attachment versatility also make it the go-to machine for a wide range of applications."

Performance and productivity

The TL519 runs on a Tier-4, 74 hp. engine with a 2-speed hydrostatic transmission. The new engine is designed for reliable cold weather starting. The engine compartment is intended to make routine maintenance checks fast with filters, and other components easily accessible to operators.

There are five operation modes available to operators on the TL519:

  • ECO mode: The engine runs at a lower RPM, with less noise and lower fuel consumption, while maintaining hydraulic performance.
  • Smooth drive mode: Used for maneuvering across job sites while carrying loads.
  • Dynamic drive mode: Increases responsiveness of acceleration and deceleration for driving between tasks.
  • Flex drive mode: Allows the operator to manage engine speed independently from travel speed.
  • Advanced attachment mode: Enables full auxiliary hydraulic performance.

The telehandler has a lift capacity of 5,500 pounds, with a lift height of over 19 feet. It's equipped with Bobcat's standard Power Bob-Tach mounting system so owners can easily swap between different attachments like buckets, pallet forks, grapples, and snow pushers.

The TL519's frame is box-welded for enhanced rigidity, and is designed with a low center of gravity for stability. The bottom plate is shielded to protect vital vehicle components, and the engine, cooling system, and other critical components are protected within the center of the chassis.

The TL519 is designed in line with the Bobcat R-Series models, focused on high visibility, ergonomics, and comfort. The cab is equipped with a suspension seat, HVAC system, and an easy-to-read instrumentation panel.

A single joystick allows operators to manage multiple functions at the same time, controlling travel direction, lift and tilt functions, boom extension, and auxiliary hydraulics.

The boom is low profile, sitting below the operator's eye level for an unobstructed view of the surrounding environment. An optional rear mirror kit, rear view camera, and boom work light kit are also available for added visibility.

Availability

The Bobcat TL519 telehandler will be available to customers starting sometime in Q2 2023. For more information, visit Bobcat.com.
