The UV34 and UV34XL gas models feature an all-new chassis designed for better durability and ride quality. The suspension system, towing capacity, and gas engine were also upgraded to better serve farmers. Power and Capacity to Work Both machines have a 39.9-hp. two-cylinder SOCH engine, a jump up from the 23.5-hp. diesel UTVs. Maximum travel speed is 35 mph. A 900-watt stator offers more output for electric-powered attachments, such as a snow blade. The 15.6-cubic-foot cargo box carries up to 1,250 pounds and can be equipped with an optional powered lift. The cargo box has a one-piece design and is made of a composite material that resists dents, rust, and corrosion. A standard 2-inch receiver hitch enables towing of trailered equipment or materials up to 2,500 lbs. Smaller items may be stowed in the additional in-dash storage or under the flip-up seat. Bobcat More Comfortable Operation Farmers who spend long hours in their UTV will appreciate the improved comfort and strength of the redesigned chassis. More ground clearance provides a better off-road experience, and improved seat contours contribute to a more supported ride. The suspension has a greater range of motion for better ride quality than previous models. Instrumentation has been updated to make operation of these UTVs more intuitive. Bigger controls and gauges also improve ease of use. The Bobcat UV43 accommodates an operator and two passengers, while the UV34XL offers seating for five passengers and the operator. A low, wide cab opening makes entry and exit easier for everyone. Bobcat Bulked up Durability There is more material in the frame, suspension components, wheel hubs, and sealed wheel bearings than in previous models, giving the UV34 and UV34XL more durability. Stronger drive components, plus new shocks and springs allow the vehicles to be more productive in challenging conditions. Price and Availability Both machines are available through Bobcat dealers now. The UV34 gas vehicle starts at $14,300, while the larger UV34XL gas model begins at $16,400.
