Kinze Introduces First-Ever Single Auger Grain Carts

Kinze started building grain carts 45 years ago but has never offered a single auger series of the carts – until now. Starting in November, the company will offer two single auger grain carts that can handle 850 and 1,050 bushels. Both were designed to increase field and harvest efficiency.

"We spent a lot of time visiting with farmers to learn about the features they're looking for in today's demanding grain handling conditions," says Susie Kinzenbaw Veatch, president of Kinze Manufacturing. "We think customers will be impressed with the durability, simplicity, and smart design of these carts."

When trying to clean out the cart, growers can easily access the pit dump on these models. The line is designed to make sure operators can clearly see the combine and cart spout while in use.

The 850-bushel Kinze 851 and the 1,050-bushel Kinze 1051 both feature a 20-inch Ultraflyte auger that allows growers to unload the carts in just over two minutes. The auger is computer balanced, has concave flighting, and a thickened edge for durability.

A front-folding corner auger design makes it easy for the auger to reach where needed and fold to stay right next to the grain truck. An adjustable spout gives growers a 42° range of motion for better grain flow control.

"The driveline features a torque limiting auto reset clutch," says Phil Jennings, Kinze Manufacturing service manager. "There's no need to worry about shear pins or other plate-type clutches. It's automative trip and reset to protect the driveline."

Both carts come equipped with radial tires to help limit soil compaction. Growers can choose an R3 or R1 pattern.

Growers can also purchase a mechanical or electric roll tarp, an adjustable spout, a two- or four-camera package with 9-inch monitor, radial lug tires, and a number of Digi-Star Scale packages.
