Kuhn is introducing two new GMD mower lines – the select and premium series.

The GMD select series is an evolution of existing Kuhn mowers designed for small and mid-sized farms. The mowers offer fast, clean mowing of heavy grasses and delicate forage crops with working widths from 5 feet 3 inches to 9 feet 2 inches.

The mowers use Kuhn's proven 100 series cutterbar, which includes the Protectadrive safety feature to help protect the cutterbar against damage if an obstacle is encountered. The select series is designed to have easy upkeep with minimal greasing points and limited overall maintenance.

A redesigned headstock keeps the mower closer to the tractor, reducing overhang and increasing safety when mowing in rough fields. An outer swath wheel provides clear separation of cut and uncut crop.

Premium series
The GMD 240, 280, and 310 mowers offer increased durability, more features, and are easier to operate than the preceding models – the 600, 700, and 800. The mowers are available with working widths from 7 feet 10 inches to 10 feet 2 inches.

Featuring the 100 series cutterbar with heavy-duty discs, the premium line cuts hay at a flat cutting angle to reduce dirt incorporation and increase knife life. A single-lever control allows operators to seamlessly transition between headland and mowing positions. Hookup is made easy with a Cat. 2 quick hitch compatibility.
