Mower performance
The ZT5000 mower runs on a 23.5 hp Kawasaki engine, capable of hitting ground speeds up to 11 mph. The mower has Hydro-Gear ZT-3800 hydrostatic transaxles for a smooth and precise operation experience, and has 24-inch drive tires to increase ground clearance with minimal ground disturbance.
The ZT5000 has been built with a heavy-duty, tubed-steel frame for increased durability. Dual fuel tanks bring the fuel capacity to a grand total of 7.8 gallons for decreased downtime, and the tool-free oil drain has been designed for quick oil changes.
Cutting deck
Bobcat’s newest zero-turn mower is available with decks at 52 or 61 inches wide. The new mower is equipped with Bobcat’s AirFX cutting system with a bullnose design that lifts grass, increases vacuum power, and protects the mower deck. An adjustable front lip is designed to take on multiple types of terrain. The system has steel-fabricated spindles for increased durability.
The mower has a range of optional features including a grass-collection system, laser-edge blades, grass-stripping kit, mulching kit, and light kit.
