Bushel has announced the launch of Bushel Farm, the next generation of Bushel's FarmLogs, a farm management software for farmers and their business partners. This software is intended to reduce the burden of manual data entry for farmers, and provide insights on grain marketing. This software has both mobile and desktop interfaces.

Bushel is also releasing an integration allowing farmers to auto-populate grain sales data in Bushel Farm sometime in mid-2023. This is designed for farmers who do business with one of the more than 2,400 grain facilities using Bushel's products. The first phase of the integration of grain sales data will allow the auto-population of contracts.

This software provides farmers with both a ground-level and a big-picture view of their farm's operational and financial performance. The tool's automation turns key record information into a real-time profit and loss statement, and generates insights on production costs, marketing positions, profitability based on current market prices, and profit and loss levels to help farmers take action with their grain buyers, agronomists, bankers, insurance providers, and other partners.

Subscription packages are also available for commercial grain buyers and other agribusinesses to track farm practices for specific grain origination programs, or assist farmers with grain marketing through managed bushels or over-the-counter programs.

Recent integrations to Bushel's software include John Deere Operations Center and Climate FieldView for imports of field activities and inputs data. Farmers also have the ability to share field boundary shapefiles, and field activity records from Bushel Farm electronically rather than manually for carbon and sustainability programs. Bushel's data permission controls are built into the platform to ensure data privacy and sharing only when properly authorized by Bushel Farm users.
