The announcements coincided with the virtual 2021 Commodity Classic. John Deere 9 Series tractors The company's largest tractors, the 9 Series, were updated under the hood and in the cab for model year 2022. This line of high-horsepower tractors includes three configurations – the wheeled 9R, two-track 9RT, and four-track 9RX. This line also includes wheeled, two track, and four track models. John Deere The updated 8RX models can be ordered with optional integrated 1,000-gallon ExactRate Tractor Tanks that can be paired with a John Deere planter for more liquid fertilizer capacity. Now, the first commercially available product, See & Spray Select, can help farmers reduce their nonresidual preemerge herbicide use by 77%. The technology helps sprayers target and spray only weeds on fallow ground. This includes the 408R, 410R, 412R, 612R, and 616R. The three new models can reach field speeds of up to 25 mph and range from 300 to 400 hp. "Everything about these sprayers is new, except for the field-proven signature front spray boom," says Joel Basinger, marketing manager for John Deere. John Deere air seeders The company's lineup of air seeding tools also received updates for model year 2022. The RelativeFlow blockage detection system is now standard equipment on all air seeders. TruSet in-cab downforce adjustment and quick-change blades are options on all 2022 no-till air seeders. John Deere John Deere zero-turn mowers The zero-turn mower lineup was updated with new 2021 models. The Z500 Series has been updated and now includes a number of high-spec features for large-acreage owners who take pride in their lawn and want to mow quickly.
