Climate has announced new features coming to FieldView, as well as an ongoing commitment with Precision Planting.

Precision Planting recently announced Panorama, a new tool to help farmers upload data collected by using the company's 20|20 monitor to their platform of choice. FieldView teams have been working closely with Precision Planting to ensure compatibility between the services once Panorama is commercialized.

Other new features coming to FieldView Plus include:

  • Multi-Operation Selection: FieldView users can now select multiple shared accounts to view summary data from sources including rainfall, Field Health Imagery, and Yield Analysis in the FieldView app.
  • Planting and application reports: FieldView users can now quickly view all planting and application activities for a specific year and crop, enabled by Multi-Operation Selection in the app.
  • File exports: Farmers now have the ability to export planting and application reports in PDF and CSV formats. Users can send those reports to third-parties not using FieldView via email and text, without leaving the app.

"In addition to bringing new features and capabilities within FieldView, we're partnered with Precision Planting to support customers and exceed their expectations with a best-in-class experience," says Brandon Rinkenberger, chief customer officer at Climate. "The current connection between Precision Planting's 20|20 and our FieldView Cab app will remain the most comprehensive and connected in-cab solution for farmers, and the future API connection will make it easier for farmers to move data between our solutions, providing a better experience outside the cab."
