Successful Farming's Editorial Guidelines Published on February 25, 2020 Close Surefire Ag Systems and Kinze Manufacturing have reached an agreement that will allow SureFire to install its industry-leading liquid fertilizer planter solutions on Kinze planters before they leave the factory. Beginning with the 2021 planting season, SureFire will execute transactions directly with Kinze dealers and professionally install its systems in space rented within Kinze's manufacturing facility in Williamsburg, Iowa. Susanne Veatch, Kinze president, said the new arrangement will make Kinze the liquid fertilizer leader in the planting industry. "SureFire fertilizer systems are custom-designed to meet farmer application needs and are complete with everything they need to start planting faster and more easily than ever before," she said. READ MORE: Q & A: Susanne Kinzenbaw Veatch, president of Kinze Manufacturing SureFire custom fertilizer systems meet many customer application needs, including multiple product applications, high-speed planting, row monitoring, and application rates from under 1 GPA to over 50 GPA. Kinze will continue to offer its own factory-installed systems but with the ever-changing custom fertilizer application methods, Veatch noted it is not possible for the company to offer all solutions farmers need. "SureFire is the liquid fertilizer industry expert, so this agreement allows them to keep developing leading-edge solutions to meet changing demand." SureFire systems are compatible with nearly all major OEM rate-control platforms and offer additional features via SureFire's Sentinel platform. SureFire's expertise in compatibility makes integration a seamless process. Kinze's planter warranty and SureFire's fertilizer system warranty will remain separate under the arrangement.
