Photo: Lisa Foust Prater My guest for this episode is Paige Tuggle, who farms and raises cattle near the central Michigan community of Ithaca. She has two off-farm jobs, both in agriculture: She is a regional sales agronomist with Stine Seed Company and has a part-time crop insurance business. We talk about how Tuggle shifted career paths during college, when she missed the farm more than she thought she would; how her mom inspires her as a mentor; and how she and her dad have developed a system for working cattle together. Paige Tuggle I know what my dad is thinking before he’s done thinking it. We can work almost a whole day in a barn without a single word being said because we know what each other needs, and we know what each other is thinking, and we can foresee that next step. — Paige Tuggle I visited Tuggle in Michigan earlier this summer.
