He recycled used leg buckets fastened to scrap lumber to create a massive bolt bin. The great thing about this hack is bolts, nuts, and other knickknacks are easily identified and readily retrieved from the elevator cups. Eric also told us he was able to pitch a lot of boxes and bags cluttering his shop, thanks to this organizer. What You'll Need Equipment / Tools Electric drill or driver Miter saw or circular saw to cut lumber Materials Used poly buckets ¾-inch plywood 2x4 lumber Deck screws Instructions Read the instructions David Ekstrom Attach the used elevator bucket to ¾-inch plywood backed by 2x4 lumber for extra strength, or use any 2x material (2x6, 2x8, etc.)Optional: If you have leftover paint, put on coats for a clean look.Mount buckets in evenly spaced rows with deck screws matted with washers.
